Roee Snir
Head of Analysis & Outreach
Roee Snir is the new Head of Analysis and Outreach at Boundless. Previously, Roee was the Deputy Director of the N7 Initiative at the Atlantic Council, a project focused on bridging regional integration between Israel and its Arab neighbors and the greater Muslim world. Roee also served the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the United States for eight years. His last post was at the Israeli embassy in Washington, DC, as the chief of staff to Israeli Ambassador to the United States, Michael Herzog. Prior to that, Roee served as senior advisor to Ambassadors Ron Dermer and Gilad Erdan. Before coming to Washington, Roee served as the political director of the Consulate General of Israel to the Southeast United States in Atlanta.
Roee is a veteran Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Officer and finished at the top of his class in the IDF Officers School. He earned a degree in Political Science and East Asian studies from Tel Aviv University. Roee lives in Rockville, MD where he serves as the Israeli parent liaison on the Parents Association at the Charles E Smith Jewish Day School.
